Trischa Zorn
Trischa Zorn born (June 1, 1964, in Orange California) is an American Paralympic swimmer. Blind frome birth she competed in paralympic swimming. She is the most successful athlete in the history of paralympic game. Having won 55 medals and was inducted into the paralympic hall OC frame in 2012. She took the Paralympic oath for athletes at the 1996 summer Paralympic in Atlanta.
HER ACHIEVEMENT
Swimmer Trischa Zorn is the most successful athlete in the history of Paralympic. She competed in the 1980, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004 Paralympic Games and won a combined total of 55 medals (41Gold, 9 Silver, 5 Bronze) she had also topped the individual medal table at the 1992 in Barcelona, with 10 gold and 2 silver. She had won 7 gold medals during her first game in 1980.
WHY IS TRISCHA ZORN INSPIRATIONAL?
Even when she was out of the water due to her surgery, she was always focused on one thing getting back in the water and training. Trischa Zorn took each part of her day as it came to her and she built upon it. She strived to achieve her best in each equation of her life, whether if was swimming of outside, of it.
